Description: "Mur de la peste", wall of dry stone, originally from 1720, in restoration since 1986. The wall was meant to protect the country north of it from the plague which infested the south of France at the time. This photo was taken during a walking tour between Lagnes and Fontaine de Vaucluse. Contrast and sharpness have been enforced, using The Gimp.
