Image: Mt. Robson from Berg Lake, reflected
Description: Mt. Robson as seen from Berg Lake, reflected. Mt. Robson, in British Columbia, Canada is the tallest peak in the Canadian Rockies and is 77 kilometres (48 mi) WNW from the Jasper townsite. It is wholly within B.C.'s Mt. Robson Provincial Park. Emperor Ridge is to the right of the summit, while Fuhrer Ridge is to the left. The face is in two 'sections': the Emperor Face is on the right, in the sunshine, while the North Face route is to the left, in shade, in the upper reaches in this photo. Re the North Face: "With its purity of line and directness of purpose, this elegant face may fairly claim to offer one of the finest ice routes in the Canadian Rockies"[1].
