Description: Roadway view of the Morrison Bridge (built in 1958) from the south sidewalk, looking east from the lift span. At right is the east bridge-tender tower, which is unused, the controls for the lift mechanism being housed in the west tower. Photo was taken shortly after the bridge reopened at the end of work that included replacing the open metal grating on the lift section with a solid deck paved with asphalt.
