Description: Ce bloc erratique (emporté par les glaciers) provenant de la région de Mollens et déplacé au parc en 1915, est destiné à commémorer la mémoire du savant naturaliste morgien François-Alphonse Forel (1841-1912) qui consacra une grande partie de sa vie à l'étude du lac Léman. Un médaillon en bronze à son effigie et réalisé par le sculpteur Raphaël Lugeon orne la pierre. - Parc de l'Indépendance, Morges (VD), Suisse.
