Description: circa 16th-century Mexica quetzal-feathered headdress traditionally attributed to emperor Moctezuma II, ninth tlatoani of Mexico-Tenochtitlan and de facto emperor of the Mexica Empire, though there's no confirmation that it actually belonged to him. The headdress is currently housed in the Museum of Ethnology, in Vienna, Austria.
