Description: Looking across at the vehicular entrance at the western end of Roy Wilkins Park, at Merrick Boulevard and Foch Boulevard in St. Albans, Queens. Unusual to a city park, it is optimized for car traffic, but not local foot traffic, perhaps because it was built a large tract on the western half of the former St. Albans Naval Hospital.
