Description: Marta Becket, 87, performed her final show at the Amargosa Opera House at Death Valley Junction on February 12th, 2012. She happened upon the abandoned headquarters for the Pacific Coast Borax Works in 1967 and, as a professional dancer, adopted the community hall and has been residing on the property and giving performances since. A real Death Valley original.
