Description: The historical marker in the town of Marshfield, Indiana, on the north side of State Avenue between Ohio Street and Kent Street. It reads: Marshfield Founded in 1857 during the early railroad boom. Named for home of Daniel Webster, Marshfield, Massachusetts. Established as post office on April 6, 1857.
