Description: FedEx Field (Maryland, USA) On July 30, 2011, Manchester United ended its 2011 U.S. Summer Tour with a 2-1 win over F.C. Barcelona at FedEx Field in front of about 81,800 fans. This represented the largest crowd for the sport of soccer in the Washington D.C.-area history. We were rooting for Barca, but were sandwiched between Man U fans. All very friendly at this "friendly," but signs of a cultural shift in the U.S. to get 81k for soccer at the home of the Redskins.
