Description: Bronze bust of Major William (Willie) Hoey Redmond (1861-1917) MP exhibited in the Redmond Memorial Park, Wexford city, Ireland. The bust was cast by the Irish sculptor Oliver Sheppard. The monument was erected to commemorate the memory of Major Willie Redmond, a native of Ballytrent, County Wexford, who was killied in action at Messines Ridge on the Western Front on 7 June 1917.
