Description: Hurricane Katrina destroyed the back wall, the front porch, and the staircase to the second floor of the Old Brick House in Biloxi, Mississippi. The Old Brick House is one of the few remaining structures in Biloxi that were built before the American Civil War. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), along with the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, and the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency, oversaw its restoration.
