Description: Picture of water drops running down the leaf of a Lotusen (Nelumbo en 'Mrs. Perry D. Slocum') a cross between Nelumbo lutea and Nelumbo nucifera 'Rosea Plena'. Due to the water-repellent properties of the leaf, the water beads and runs off of the leaf, leaving it dry. Photo taken in the Pond at the Chanticleer Garden in Wayne, Pennsylvania, where it was identified.
