"Lovrenc Lavtižar, a missionary among the Indians, was baptized in this parish church on December 11th, 1820; he became exhausted during his apostolic travels and froze to death on December 3rd, 1858 at Red Lake, Minnesota, USA. 'How beautiful are the feet of him that ... publisheth salvation' (Isaiah 52.7)."
