Description: Lafayette Building, also known as the Export-Import Bank, at 811 Vermont Avenue, NW in Washington, D.C. The building was constructed in 1940 to serve as the headquarters of the Federal Loan Agency and the Reconstruction Finance Corporation. It's now used by the Department of Veteran Affairs and is a National Historic Landmark.
