Description: In 1626, Samuel de Champlain, who found plenty of fodder in the lowlands bordering the Tourmante cap, erected two buildings, a stable barn and root cellar. Destroyed two years later this site is the first farm on the French Côte de Beaupré and the first farm on the St. Lawrence Valley. Here we have a replica of the main buildings of these places, as a peasant-Norman model.
