Description: The photographs show the inhabitants of Oświęcim - both Christians and Jews - digging ditches, probably anti-aircraft. The donor mentions that these were anti-tank ditches, but the analysis of the photographs does not confirm such a thesis. The event took place at the turn of July and August 1939.
