Description: King of Thailand's ceremonial robe felt strip. The gown, as the symbol of royal patronage, is presented to the king of Thailand by Chulalongkorn University after the accession to the throne. The robe is made from white translucent mesh tailored into long-sleeved calf-length gown. Outer border, elbow and wrist are lined with felt strip depicted above. The strip features 10 cm wide yellow felt sheet with 1 cm golden brocade at both sides. In addition, 5 cm golden brocade and silver Phra Kiao pin is added to the middle of the strip.
