Description: BUILT IN TWO STAGES IN 1728 AND 1815; JOHN AND ELIZABETH REMINGTON WERE ACTIVE QUAKERS IN THE COMMUNITY; THE HOUSE STAYED IN THEIR FAMILY UNTIL SOLD IN 1795 AFTER JOHN III DIED. BRICK WORK IS FLEMISH BOND WITH VITRIFIED HEADS. THEIR INITIALS ARE IN THE BRICKWORK NEAR THE ROOF LINE Note that the house is in New Jersey, not New York State.
