Description: 1899 sculpture of John McMillan by Alexander Stirling Calder, was on the facade of the Witherspoon Building (near Philadelphia City Hall) until 1961. Now displayed in the courtyard of the Presbyterian Historical Society at 425 Lombard Street, Philadelphia, not too far from Independence Hall. One of six similar sculptures by AS Calder at the PHS. This one is displayed 3rd from the left (looking at the building entrance)
