Description: Jackass Mountain in the Fraser Canyon area. So-named for a mule who fell to its death on the Cariboo Trail which passed over this mountain to the Cariboo Goldfields. NB Jackass Mountain is not a summit but a reference to the stretch of road seen at right; the peak in the background is not Jackass Mountain and is part of the Lillooet Ranges.
