Image: Irishtown Bend cross-section
Description: A U.S. Army Corps of Engineers diagrammatic cross-section of the Irishtown Bend hillside on the west bank of the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States. Irishtown Bend is a meander in the Cuyahoga River, and the same name is used to describe the shore and hillside on the west bank of the river between the Columbus Road Bridge and the Detroit-Superior Bridge. The hillside is slowly collapsing into the Cuyahoga River due to a steep slope. The dashed green line indicates where a stable slope would exist.
