Description: Australian Water Dragon (Intellagama Lesueurii) exhibiting red waxy secretion through femoral pores just in front of its rear legs. For a period of about a week in February almost all Water Dragons (male and female) except the juveniles exhibited this trait. This particular dragon seemed to be an exception as the femoral pores on most other water dragons appeared further back - behind the rear legs, at the beginning of the tail.
