Description: Indian Rock at Big Ridge State Park in Union County, Tennessee, in the southeastern United States. The plaque marks the site where settler Peter Graves was killed by hostile natives in 1794. This rock outcropping lies along the crest of Big Ridge, and is accessed by the Indian Rock Trail (the south side of the loop). The trail is faint, but well-blazed.
