Description: The feast of Qoyllur Riti highlights the Andean-Christian syncretism. A party that is celebrated in Peru and exactly in Cusco in the province of Quispicanchis. This festival brings together the tradition of the surrounding indigenous peoples, the veneration of the hills or snow-capped mountains (Apus) and the Christian religion. In the background plane of the picture it is seen that several people carry a cross and bring it to the foot of the Nevado Colque Punku, in order to unite the Christian Religion with the venerated hill (Apu). And in the first shot of the photo you can see a dancer of the Chunchu Dance on his back with his traditional dress.
