Description: The 1905 historic schoolhouse (formerly “Quincy Grammar School”) in downtown Quincy, Plumas County, California. After 1950, the old schoolhouse provided offices and storage space for the Plumas United School District and the Plumas County Office of Education. The failure of a waste plumbing line in 2014 forced a restoration that took five years and cost several million dollars.
