Description: The Hanover was a two-masted brigantine packet ship owned and operated by the Falmouth Packet Company, which operated between 1688 and 1852. Hanover was 100-foot (30 m) long and was built in 1757. This item was recovered from the wreck of the Hanover and was found inside a loaded cannon.
