Description: The defunct "Al Hamra Cinema" in the Hyram Street of the coastal city of Tyre/Sour, Southern Lebanon. It opened in the 1950s and was a venue for some of the Arab world's most famous performers, like Mahmoud Darwish, Sheikh Imam, Ahmed Fouad Negm, Wadih el-Safi, and Marcel Khalife. It closed down because of the Civil War in 1989, and was temporarily re-opened by the Istanbouli Theatre Company in 2014.
