Description: The H. Carl Moultrie Courthouse located at 500 Indiana Avenue, N.W., in the Judiciary Square neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The seven-story, limestone modernist courthouse was built in 1976 to the designs of architectural firm Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabaum. It is home to the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.The bas-relief panel on the terrace wall of the steps is Columbia (1942) by sculptor John Gregory.
