Description: A photograph of the east gable of Greyfriars Kirk, Edinburgh. This shows the appearance of the church after the completion of a restoration in 1857 by David Cousin and before another restoration of 1932-1938 by Henry F. Kerr. This shows the steeply pitched gable which was pedimented and returned to something closer to its previous appearance in the 1930s.
