Description: A former bus station which was situated here until around the early 1980s with the opening of the underground bus station at the nearby Arndale Centre which itself closed in June 1996 after the IRA bomb; the bus station for predominately north (and west) Manchester is now situated in nearby Shudehill, the bridge carries both some car park and the railway line near Manchester Victoria. Taken on Friday 14th May
