Description: National Museum of Scotland. One of the Stirling Torcs. Found near Blair Drummond in 2009. One of four torcs dating from 300 to 100 BC. They had been buried in a wooden roundhouse (long rotted away). This torc has disc-shaped terminals and is made from a twisted ribbon of gold, a simple design commonly made in Scotland and Ireland at the time.
