Perhaps, though I am not entirely sure, it consists of a central twinned core, on which small cubes have grown. In any case, a rare and superb gold thumbnail of unusual habit, from the reknowned F John Barlow gold collection (which was dispersed in 1998-1999). Mass is about 6 grams
