Description: GWR 'OPEN A' 12 ton (later upgraded to 13 tons), 5-planked, unfitted, open goods wagon with tarpaulin 'hybar' No.117993, Diagram O29, Lot 1043, built by GWR (Swindon) in 1930. TOPS code OWO. At the Great Western Society, Didcot Railway Centre, 20 April 2019. This must have been converted to an 'OPEN A' with a hybar as the O29's were simply 'OPEN's' without a hybar. Swindon built 5,859 O29's in 1931-34.
