Description: The Gurleyville grist mill which is the centerpiece of the district. Built in 1830 on the site of a 1750 mill. Only one of its kind in Connecticut. Wilbur Cross, Governor of CT was born in the house on the site and he is the name sake of the Wilbur Cross Parkway.
