Description: BERRY MANSION, CALLED JUNIPER HILL, WAS BUILT AROUND 1899. BERRY WAS PROMINENT IN THE WHISKEY DISTILLERY BUSINESS. AFTER HIS DEATH AND HIS WIFE'S IT WAS PURCHASED BY THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY AND IS USED BY THEIR INSPECTOR GENERAL. DURING THE CIVIL WAR IT WAS A CAMPGROUND FOR UNION SOLDIERS.
