Description: Marble tomb of Frances Brandon, Duchess of Suffolk in Westminster Abbey, St. Edmunds Chapel, erected four years after her death by her second husband, Adrian Stokes. She is depicted wearing the ermine mantle and crown of a duchess and holds a book of prayer in her hands. The effigy is in good condition although covered in incised names and the nose had to be mended at one point.
