Description: The apparent site of Fort Massapeag in Sunset Park in Massapequa, New York. Fort Massapeag was an old Dutch trading post where Dutch settlers traded wampum with Lenape Native Americans, and may have been the site of an Indian War. I saw no evidence of this when I visited the site though.
