Description: The reconstructed east palisade of Fort Southwest Point in Kingston, Tennessee, in the southeastern United States. The palisade's ditch was uncovered by archaeologists in the 1980s, allowing researchers to determine the fort's layout. Botanist Andre Micheaux mentioned the palisade in 1802. The Clinch River is in the distance.
