Description: The South Beaver School was built in 1936 and is located at 506 S. Beaver Street. The South Beaver Elementary School was a segregated school for Hispanic students and later for African-American students until the 1950s. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places August 6, 1987, Ref. #87001342.
