Description: On the flag, the yellow and red bars reference the County of Loon, which ruled over the area. Instead of the 10 bars on its coat of arms, 8 bars were chosen for the eight residential areas. The green and yellow bars on the right refer to the woods and golden sand of the Dune Belt and Oudsbergen. The two wavy blue lines refer to the abundance of water in fens and streams. Municipal symbols adopted 4 July 2022.
