Description: Walls of Fes el-Bali, seen from the Marinid Tombs to the north. This section of the walls is possibly the oldest remaining section by some accounts. When this picture was taken (2014), some efforts to consolidate or restore them were under way (as seen in scaffolding); in more recent pictures, this part of the walls has been partly "restored"/reinfoced by local heritage agency ADER-Fes.
