Description: Emery Valentine (1858-1930) was an American businessman, jeweler and politician. Valentine was an early prominent resident of Juneau, Alaska, where he built commercial buildings, wharves, organized the Juneau Volunteer Fire Department and served multiple terms as mayor of Juneau.
