Description: Ox-eye daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare) is an introduced species to North America. It was first brought over in the 1600s and has spread westward to occupy the whole of Canada. While flower-lovers enjoy this bright, cheerful plant, it is a bane to farmers, as its aggressive growth crowds out forage plants. The daisy blooms from May to December, and prefers disturbed sites.
