Description: Drochaid na h-Uinneige This 'Eye of the Window Bridge' on General Wade's Military Road was built about 1728 across the Allt A'Chrombaidh. It crosses the top of a forbidding gorge, a major obstacle to the Military Road and still an obstacle for the Old and New A9 road bridges. This surely is 'the geograph' of the square!
