Description: Dragon's teeth, Fairbourne The promenade, tank traps, shingle and sand on the Ro Wen spit at the mouth of the Afon Mawddach. The tank traps were constructed in the early years of WW2, as were many others around the coast of Britain. They've lasted pretty well considering the haste with which they were built. Taken at 1318 (high water Barmouth 1715). Keywords: defences
