Description: U.S. Army military identification tags ("dog tags") with religious/belief system designation: "Atheist/FSM." According to Griffith, "Atheist" was his serious response to the question of religious preference, but he added "FSM" - for The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster - as a subtle "rebellion" against the initial refusal of an Army rep making his dogtags to write "Atheist" on them. (Griffith had his own dog tags made -- acceptable to the Army because customized dog tags are allowed as long as they meet Army specifications.)
