Description: Ostracon with Demotic inscription. Limestone. Ptolemaic Period, c. 305-30 BC-(?330-305 BC?). Probably from Thebes. It is a prayer to the god Amun to heal a man's blindness. It concludes: "Return to me, my great lord, Amun. I am defenseless. Let me not perish. Do not forget me."
