Description: Hidden behind columns of the western portico is a continuous mosaic (34,5 x 7,3 m.) representing the (local) River Barada with scenes of settlements and trees along its sides. It's from the foundation (early 8th century) period, with some repairs under Baybars (late 13the century). One of some pictures taken during two essions with different light conditions.
