Description: Damaged bridge over the Waipa River, at Ngaruawahia. Photograph taken by Albert Percy Godber in 1917. Dated from other images in the Godber album at Pa1-q-102. There are photographs of people and horses being transported across the Waipa River on a punt, pulled by winch, because the bridge was unable to be crossed having collapsed in 1916.
