Description: Alternate variants of lowercase Cyrillic letters: Б/б, Д/д, Г/г, И/и, П/п, Т/т, Ш/ш. Three colored double columns show the locally preferred upright and italic/cursive forms for three regions:   default standard Russian (Eastern) forms   alternate Bulgarian (Western) upright forms   alternate Serbian/Macedonian/Bosnian/Montenegrin (Southern) italic forms In traditional Bulgarian typesetting, the upright shapes of characters д (d), г (g), и (i), п (p), т (t) and ш (sh) resemble their cursive forms, i.e. they look similar to Roman lowercase letters g, ƨ (mirrored s), n and m, respectively, instead of like small capital letters as in Russian. This similarly applies to the character б (b) in Serbian, Macedonian, Bosnian and Montenegrin, which has the Russian form in Bulgarian typography.
